On October 23, 2013 Chicago welcomes Bon Jovi to the United Center. We hear he’s known all over the world too. According to the internet he’s sold over 130 million albums – almost as many cheezborgers as we’ve served Chicago.
We also heard that Bon Jovi’s famous song “Lay Your Hands on Me” was inspired by a Billy Goat Cheezborger!
68 Years and The Goat Still Hasn’t Seen His Game.
That’s right, Cubs fans. It’s been 68 years since Billy Goat Sianis said the Cubs wouldn’t win the World Series again. Can you believe the goat still hasn’t seen a game?
In fact, the last time the Cubs won the World Series was 1908. Their Opening Day pitcher’s name was Orval Overall, who went on to win MVP: “Most Vicious Parents”.
