A new season is almost here for our World Champion Chicago Blackhawks. On September 16 they are hosting a fun family event by inviting fans to watch practice and a scrimmage.
They are giving away free Jonathan Toews Bobbleheads to the 1st 10,000 fans!

Join us on Thursday, August 22 for our 3rd Annual No More Lip Service Cocktail Party and Fundraising Event – a fun evening of entertainment and enlightenment! A silent auction, surprise guests, fabulous raffle prizes and delicious food and drinks!OUR GOALS
1. Promote the termination of tobacco use in any form
2. Generate awareness of Northwestern’s cessation program
3. Raise funds to help cover cessation program costs for participants who need financial assistance.This year’s event will be held at The World Famous Billy Goat Tavern’s Navy Pierlocation!

Tickets for the No More Lip Service Cocktail Party and Fundraising Event can be purchased online for $50 or at the door for $60. It’s hard to believe that it’s already been 16 years. On April 29th 1997, the world lost a great writer and we at Billy Goat Tavern lost a great friend in Mike Royko.
Royko helped make Billy Goat into a legendary reporter hangout. Today, journalism students from across the country make the trip under Michigan Avenue to enjoy a cheezborger surrounded by Royko’s articles. It’s an amazing experience.
